Our Story

Sister, welcome to Gather. Created in London in 2018 and now growing roots in East Sussex, Gather was founded by Olivia Hempstead. This space was birthed in a time when Olivia found herself needing to return home towards herself, nature and sisterhood. For when she felt like the load was too heavy to hold it became all too clear that she needed a strong community of women around her. For receiving support from other sisters and the divine feminine with whom we feel safety and love allows us to find the inner strength to overcome whatever obstacle may be in front of us.

Feeling a deep calling to share the wisdom and nurturing energy of the feminine Olivia opened up her own home to create a sacred healing space for women to Gather, be held and be witness by one another. Guiding many as they return home to self by opening their hearts to be supported through challenging times.

In a world that can sometimes feel fast and chaotic it is important to have a place where we can come to to slow down and return to our stillness. A place of safety and nourishment.  A place within us all called home. 

We can so easily feel a disconnect in our masculine driven society, one that can lack support but this is exactly what we all need. Connection. Olivia deeply believes that we do not always have to walk this journey alone, that sharing in times of distress can lead to a sacred, healing bond between sisters.

Olivia’s vision for Gather is to pass down insights and create spaces for others to find their own place of healing and connection. A place where the Divine Feminine can remind us just how interconnected and powerful we all truly are! 

Each month Olivia creates a circle within East Sussex for sisters to come gather. To sit in circle and ceremony, where they are invited to journey through different healing practices and rituals. Sisters are given the space to be witnessed by sharing and opening their heart space.

Offerings

Schedule a 1:1 guidance session with Olivia or a Private Blessingway.

1:1 Guidance

A Guidance Session takes place over 90 minutes. Coming together through a blend of Reiki, Aromatherapy, Energy Cleansing, Sound Healing and Processing time. 

You shall sit and connect with Olivia over tea to really learn where you may be in your present moment and where you see yourself creating space to flourish. Olivia shall read your energy and hold space through these offerings to help create space within in order to rediscover your inner healer. 

This is a space to be held and truly listened too. Each Reading is unique and different for each client as you are all unique in your own journey.

Private Blessingways & Gatherings

As well as her monthly Circles Olivia also creates private Blessingways. These include Mama Blessings, Bridal Blessings and Birthday Blessings. These gatherings are a sacred form of celebration for a particular woman in our lives that is experiencing a transition in her life. During a Blessingway, a group of her closest sisters will gather to celebrate and honour her celebration be it her journey into motherhood or partnership.

Women have always gathered in circle to witness and support one another as they step into a new phase. In Native American tradition, (Dine Navajo to be accurate) a ceremony called a Blessingway created space  to come together as a support circle for the expecting mother, and bless the way ahead for her. The circles of Women around us weave invisible nets of love that carry us when we are weak and sing with us when  we are strong.

Meet the founder,

Olivia is a holistic guide and space holder, she does not see herself as a healer instead she sees her journey as being one of service and a channel for medicine to flow. She creates spaces for you to journey inwards, opening a channel to receive your insights and clarity. Her gatherings are there to act as a mirror to reflect your own light back.

For many years Olivia has held space through a variety of healing modalities, from Naturopathy, Yoga and Meditation to Sound Healing, Reiki and Breathwork. These practices then led her to create her own healing spaces through Gatherings and Ceremonies. Where she welcomes all to come and connect to find their healer within. When holding space within Ceremony Olivia feels most at home, witnessing others share, show compassion and create true connections with one another.

She is guided by her own intuition and enchanted moments, of which she hopes to pass on to you so that you have all you may need to create your own sacred gatherings. 

Olivia works closely with the natural elements and their magikal properties. Over the years her love for flowers has blossomed into many different forms, she began by bringing flowers and plants to her ceremonies for the alter, creating different designs as an offering. Then taking the flowers home and drying these out to hold the memory and energy of the evening, this then developed into her own artwork. Here you will find her Pressed Botanical Collection which was created with the intent to share the magik of flowers with others. 

Taking her love for flowers further Olivia trained in Floristry at the prestigious Catherine Muller school of flowers in London. As well as the Judith Blacklock Flower School in Sustainability with Dried Flowers. Creating beautiful arrangements for clients all with her magikal touch of enchanted healing.
